Sounds like Rigondeaux is projecting, since Donaire thrashed everybody else in the division in 2012 whilst Rigo has looked less than impressive against his best opponent to date (Cordoba). I doubt Donaire lacks any confidence at all. Dominating a few divisions tends to do that to a fighter. Fighting a very dominant fighter is an intimidating prospect, even for a boxer as refined as Rigo.
