Honestly, Rigo has been doing all the talking but it could be him trying to gain a psychological advantage like Hopkins or Mayweather usually would pre-fight.

It seems that way to me. But Rigo has dialed down the rhetoric the last couple of weeks. It's like he's entering "the zone." He's gone from trash talk to a more serious tone. I like it. It appears that "El Chacal" is honing in on target. I'm sure Donaire is, too. They're on a collision course and it's gonna be good....

I just want to hear what Rigo the jackass will say when he lays flat on his back. A defector to the US who doesnt speak little English at all.

Sounds like Rigondeaux is projecting, since Donaire thrashed everybody else in the division in 2012 whilst Rigo has looked less than impressive against his best opponent to date (Cordoba). I doubt Donaire lacks any confidence at all. Dominating a few divisions tends to do that to a fighter. Fighting a very dominant fighter is an intimidating prospect, even for a boxer as refined as Rigo.

Whoever translated for Rigo didn't do a good job translating the phrase "perro que ladra, no muerde". He should've said something like "talk is cheap" or something similar. Can't wait for this fight though! It'll be a great fight for as long as it lasts. Both are fast, both have power and both are currently at the top of their game.

Ironic since Rigo is the only one barking.

Usually, yes, but I think Guillermo truly believes he's better. Both these guys are champions. Say what you will about Rigondeaux's amateur experience, but a double Olympic champion in boxing is a rare animal. It's difficult enough to medal, let alone take home the gold twice. That tends to instill confidence in a fighter, regardless of it's value in the pros.

Funny...I knew that refrain is common in English as well. But I did a search, out of curiosity, and it turns out it's said in many other cultures, including ***ish society.
