They should make it worthwhile for him. Why not do 50/50 or 60/40 for Pac? Sure Pac brings more buys, but he did get KTFOed, and JMM can take it or leave it. Also, JMM 5 would still do much better than Bradley 2, everyone wins

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is trying to reach an agreement with Marquez for a fifth Pacquiao clash, but the Mexican boxer doesn't see the point after knocking Pacquiao out cold in the sixth round of their fourth meeting last December at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

      • Peeman Knows Pac will bash him - hence try to escape!

Peeman knows he was about to be stopped by Pac when that lucky punch came.

He was pummelled and hurt by Pac for 5 rounds (and Pac was leading all scorecards) and for the life of him wpould not have the courage to fight Pac again. Very clear he is afreaid, very afraid of Pac - no $20 million would entice the Peeman - Pweh!

        • Good move for Marquez. He's willing to give the fans something fresh to see and he is pursuing another title. He knows he would make more fighting Pacquiao, but hes thinking about his legacy. He is not letting money dictate his thoughts which is good. I also feel that a 5th fight isnt needed. Marquez got the win that he wanted so just leave it at that. Hell Pac is still the winner of the series so people need to let it go. But I understand the Pac fans didnt want their hero to end the series the way it did. Oh well. Bring on Bradley. I think it will be a great fight. I'm pretty sure the "meeting of the pacquiao conquerors" theme will be used alot for the build up.

While its true that the punch was indeed lucky, I doubt he is afraid of Pac, If he was he wouldnt have fought him as many times as he did, knowing that pac had the punching power and speed to put him away. They rivalry will be forever remembered by everybody its time for them to move on to different opponents. What I find funny is that people are only wanting a rematch because the invincible Pacquiao was ko'd.

            • Go ahead let Marquez fights Bradley and let see how much money will he earn. If he doesn't want to fight Pac, then let him retire.Nobody says that he is a Puppet, (except himself)a Promoter knows exactly how much money could it earn from any fights. If he wins good, but, if he losses by UD, then, he can retire.

              • Marquez can say what he wants but lists. What he says here my family has the last say on what the future holds and if this is so then his wife will see the difference in the two purses and you can rest assure the boxer will change his tune and fight pacquiao a fifth time. A fight with Bradley won't bring the revenue he's lookin for.

Ok, well, I guess we view victory differently. Manny said he did enough but even Roach felt some kind of way......

Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach agreed that the outcome was a tough decision. “Probably could have gone either way,” Roach said. “I thought Manny edged him out in the last two rounds.”

Even Roach thought that a fourth fight may be in order. “I don’t want to do this again but I think we may have to,” Roach said. “I do think he deserves a rematch, yes.”

Roach was double talking. He knows Marquez got that win. Lets see what Manny had to say....

“It’s very clear that I won the fight,” Pacquiao said.

He added that the cramps in his feet did not give him his usual balance. “Not the fight that I want.”

Doesn't sound like a winner to me. Excuses, excuses. Remember Pacquiao condemning all Pinoys who said he didn't win the fight?

Although I agree with you here when you say the pacquiao fans want a rematch because they can't believe what they saw last december but I gotta disagree with your opening statement how was the punch lucky? For four fights he couldn't stop that right hand pacquiao got overly aggressive yes and got caught but hey that's boxing in my should we assume that when pacquiao put Marquez on his butt they were lucky punches of course not look any other fighter wouldn't have been able to take that punishment remember they were countin this guy out when he fought Juan Diaz five years ago my point is Marquez is just that fighter ELITE them beatings he took would have taken out any other fighter but this guy "pacquiao" can't and won't ever stop him.

Take the test and give Pac the fight he gave u 4 times when he never needed to.
Roach questioned whether Marquez was using performance-enhancing drugs.

“Freddie Roach is saying I’ve been taking steroids. He’s way off base,” Marquez told the Los Angeles Times. “I say ‘let’s do the test right now’.”
