Why I said let's see if he beats Trout first....

The Floyd part was basically just addressing that Floyd won't be competing for September, because I doubt he fights 4 months later, 6-7 months is more realistic for a 36 year old.

With Chavez-Martinez you had a well respected undisputed champion against a Mexican star.

Bradley v Marquez you also get a Mexican star but nobody cares about the other guy. Bradley brings in a few thousand buys on his own, tops.

The fight will do 300k, which is not bad at all. But Marquez will have to take a pay cut.

So yeah Martienz is pretty damn well known bro whether you want to admit it or not plus in terms of future I thing Martinez has way more left in that tank than JMM. Yet the irony is I pointed out how you did an epic fail and you respond with that. It would've been better to just S T F U and have kept it moving. You clearly don't know diddly squat comparing gates to ppv revenue like they are even remotely the same thing.
I really don't want to get on the Floyd should or shouldn't fight Sergio.....but one thing we know is Sergio has his own fights at 160 against Golovkin, Geale, Quillin, or even Pirog. He can stop calling out Welterweights for now. The guy is over 170 something lbs 30 days before the weigh in, Floyd is never even approaching 160 lbs when he's sitting on his couch doing nothing.

Marquez is clearly willing to take the paycut.. The question is will Bradley be willing to take a paycut if he gets offered a Pac fight?? I doubt it.

Bradley is the big winner in all this.

That's JMMs choice. But if I'm Bradley I will have to request a strict blood test to fight him.

That wasn't my point bro, My point is Sergio has been trying to nail down that fight that gets him his proper due. Out those names you get boxing just do not name recognition just due. I don't see the issue tho in fighting a guy at 154 if neither man has an issue making the weight..if that's the case why not fight cotto at 147 where he's a better opponent than at 154 where he isn't a legit threat of any kind. If anything 154 is fine for me in a floyd martinez fight considering martinez was a 154 king at one point. Martinez will get a shot at 154 vs Canelo I believe at one point or another tho. If Martinez had started out at 160 or higher and wanted to come down to 154 to fight I would have a problem with it..but in the end we are talking about a 6 pound difference in divisions. He had to chase Chavez for two years for that one fight..that's what the guys career has always been.

Seriously am I missing something here? Bradley vs Marquez is a hell of a fight. If you want to watch Manny vs Marquez again they have piled up plenty of footage for you to do so. Marquez has moved on let it go.

I never thought Id see the day where a fight like Bradley vs Marquez is ****ted on.

first of all, why the hell are you changing the subject? we are talking about who is a draw here.

nobody wanted to fight Martinez? Pirog called his ass out and Dibella didn't want that fight to happen. Instead he chose to fight a bum like Jr because he was going to give him the career high payday by fighting on mexican independence weekend.

LOL @ Martinez being a big name in the U.S. and Europe, GTFO kid.

He knows what type of motivation it takes to fight Manny and it just isn't there anymore. Manny has every reason to be motivated and want a 5th fight. Juan lives in Mexico, so he is living very good off his career earnings. Its not about the money anymore, its about respect. He wants that 5th title and that's what motivates him. Bradley vs Marquez is a great fight for the true boxing fan.
I don't think so. JMM just bought a new mansion and has to pay security... JMM needs money, that's why he's begging to fight outside the U.S.A. so he isn't taxed as much.

Good for Juan. Both he and Manny said the last fight would be the end for their rivalry so im happy he is sticking to his word. Its sad that some posters would want them to fight 50 times if thats what it took for Manny to end up on top. As for Bradley, I dont know that Juan beats him. Juan wont be able to wobble Timmy with every single punch he lands like Tims last fight, and Juan looked very slow against Manny. But hey, losing wont affect his legacy at this point so why not go for it?
