So that is like 10 million right there~ plus all the other revenue streams, they might not be ecstatic with 400k but that is enough to break even probably even make a bit of a profit.

I also say the fight easily does over 500k considering Bradley's last fight and JMM's bigger star, and I wouldn't be surprised at a 6 handle on that number.
IMO, if Bob doesn't make another crap undercard as usual and put Rios on there, this fight will do 500k or more.
Both men have been on PPV's, but as complimenting acts. People know who they are... this main event will sell well... especially if it's on the 17th.

I find Martinez to be a freak of nature on many level, Chavez is a draw. I agree it's not about about belts or talking..but it is about money. Broner is a big name, no ppv's. Danny Garcia big name no ppv's, Quillin big name in the making, no ppv's. See my corrolation. Just because you have a recognizable name doesn't make you ppv worthy. In order for Bradley vs JMM to be a successful ppv it'll require more than them two..perhaps their possible future opponent somewhere in the cards. It ain't like the old days where folks spend $60 to watch tyson pummel someone in 45 seconds.
Well we're discussing a fight that would take place in the U.S. and Marquez is undoubtedly a bigger draw than Martinez there. Hell Chavez Jr might still be a bigger draw than Martinez in the U.S. as well, the mexican american fanbase is deep.

Broner, Garcia and Quillin are young fighters who just burst onto the scene recently, you can't be seriously comparing them with Marquez who's been on ppv 4 times.

Marquez is practically 40 and the main topic of discussion these days is retirement..those three guys are posed to be the future of the sport. They are indeed bigger draws at this point of the equation so yes I can compare. Neither Marquez or Bradley has been the draw in a ppv. Martinez and Chavez were equal draws in theirs. Its all a matter of opinion.I respect yours even if I don't agree with it.

          • LMAO @ the idiots saying Marquez vs Bradley wouldn't do decent #'s

in Pacquiao vs Marquez 3-4, Marquez had the majority mexican fanbase at the fight.

You have the nerve to call people idiots because they don't think they'd do good ppv numbers and attempt to affirm that by referencing the gate #'s..facepalm bro..the gate is not ppv revenue..

                • Lol nobody wanted the 4th fight, n both fighters agree no 5th, the Pacquiao vs Marquez series is over, just the Pacquiao fans crying, n its the actual boxing fans that see the bigger picture, i was done after the 3rd fight even do i felt Marquez won that fight clearly n almost every boxing fan felt the same n nobody wanted the 4th but it was made n we still supported it cause we kno they are great fighters n we knew it was gonna be a great fight, n its now going down history as one of the greatest of all time, its over

                  • Bradley-Marquez does around 500K PPV's probably. If it's on Mexican Independence Day, maybe 100K more.

Chavez-Martinez did 475K....Sergio and Bradley are about equal in terms of who's known, maybe you can give Bradley an edge due to being on a Pacquiao PPV headline. Chavez and Marquez in terms of popularity are probably about equal in all reality, maybe even Chavez might be more known sadly. I don't know. But that fight would've done around 400K not on Mexican Independence probably, being on that date probably added 50-75K buys.

So I really think Bradley-Marquez would be in the same ballpark.
