If you watch the fight closely or not even closely but just watched not only from one side, you will clearly see Marquez setting Manny up with the left to open him up with the right. Marquez has been landing that right hand all throughout their rivalry but this time he practiced to land it and seal the deal. Manny got KO'd cold and nothing or what no one says other wise will take that away.

No I get that. I just dont see how the numbers add up, unless both guys are willing to take 4m or less. I sure dont see them getting big guarantees, they can gamble on the ppv upside.

I think both guys would be smart enough to understand they wouldn't make Pacquiao money fighting each other. If they want to fight, it's absolutely a PPV worthy fight.

In this climate of million buys, HBO is not investing that kind of money to sell 400k in buys..just not smart business

They did it for Martinez vs Chavez Jr, and the undercard wasn't that good.

Why do people act like 300-500K PPV sales is bad......people act like every fight should be 1 million plus now or it's not successful because of how often Floyd and Manny have done those numbers.

Totally agree, I doubt he'd even give him alvarado..I think Ruslan vs Alvarado would happen first.

You are talking about two belt holders, the #1 and #2 in their division and with a huge public rivalry that had been brewing for about 2 years..that fight had all the momentum of being a dog fight and I tell you was the first ppv in a long time I wanted to buy. The same does not apply here..there is no rivalry..neither man in my opinion is going to get all crazy on camera talking shiiit to hype the fight and one has only had one true ppv event under his belt which was considered widely a failure. Now if they said something like if Bradley wins he gets Mayweather or Broner then maybe..because again it leaves that what if he loses thing in the back of people's minds. If pacquaio had beaten JMM and this fight was made and they said the winner gets pacquaio that would be fuel to get people to buy but neither guy has that going for them right now.

I think Arum is very interested in putting Ruslan on any undercard he can..the guy is good money to put on a brawler show..Bradley vs Marquez with Alvarado vs Ruslan on the undercard may be a good ppv which will draw interest. Rios just needs to fk off and go away..I can't stand to see that kid talk. Makes me want to grab a steel pipe and beat some impulse control into him.
