well at the time nishioka was ranked #1, mathebula was IBF champ, vazquez jr was ranked in the top ten at 122, and arce was just the cherry on the top...

donaire beat hernan marquez and mthalane who went on to become world champions less than a year later, but i don't think you give donaire any credit at all for those wins...

Well, anyway, let's just forget who Rigo has fought, it's not important because considering Rigo hasn't fought anyone the level of those guys, I'm not sure you can talk too much ****. I'd just wait until the fight is done, see what the outcome is, and either keep quiet or gloat like crazy.

The more you gloat now, the worse it's gonna look if he loses badly.

These guys at the stage of their careers when Donaire fought them are seriously no better than Corboda, Marroquinn and Ramos would likely beat most of them.

Who has Arce or Vasquez Jr ever beaten? Arce's best win is Vasquez Jr.
Vasquez Jrs best win is Oquendo a guy who was struggling with journeymen that both Marroquinn and Rigondeaux absolutely wrecked!

Rigo would fold Mathebula's skinny ass body in two with 1 bodyshot. Mathebula is too slow and uncoordinated.

I love how these idiots here, puga to be precise, was saying WV2 was a better opponent than Rigo. Name and skillwise... Are you fkin kidding me?

of course he really should, because after donaire KO his ass in 5 rounds then rigo will be happy be made easy $700k in only 5 rounds and will be happy to be repatriated in a box with his money

I have no problem with his earlier opposition in particular though they was tiny guys. I just believe his 2012 was absolutely noway near as great as it was made out and its looking worse and worse.

Taking a 1 year break and coming back for a payday while contemplating retirement doesn't make you #1.

I agree Vazquez Jr and Arce weren't that good of wins, I don't really rate those wins.

But Mathebula and Nishioka were good wins at the time. People were calling for Donaire to fight Nishioka, he did and beat him. Yes, Nishioka was past his best days, doesn't change that he was a good fight going in. It's similar to Mayweather-Mosley to me, only Mosley is better than Nishioka and was P4P at the time.

I have to say I didn't think Donaire would fight Rigondeaux, but I said he had to fight either Rigondeaux or Mares before leaving 122 and he's doing that. Should be interesting.

Donaire isn't K.Oing anything. Hes in love with his power too much.

The guy could barely put a dent in an inexperienced Vasquez Jr who was coming off a stoppage loss to Arce & who just got battered by games console engineer.
