Floyd Mayweather, most complete prize fighter since Marvin Hagler

Okay, we all know that the counter-punching, power-hitter version of Hagler in 1977-78 was the best 160lber ever.. and that he turned boxer-puncher in the early 80's and proved he could still win fights in the mid 80's (as a face-first brawler) despite his sharpness having faded away loads.

But Floyd is atleast the best since Hagler, maybe even better.

Whitaker and Chavez were the best of the 90's, but Floyd is the best of the last 15 years.

Floyd Mayweather is more skilled than Sugar Ray Robinson ever was, right up there with the man himself, Joe Gans!

He possibly has the most skillful defence ever, and if Ricky Hatton beats him then I say that Ricky has eclipsed his idol Roberto Duran!

Haha, didnt you usta love Zab? I think you're more correct about Mayweather though, if not actually correct. He will go down as an all time great, but he needs to step up his opposition. If he doesnt, he can kiss it goodbye.

I've always liked Mayweather and Judah in the ring. I think they're the most horrible people on earth outside of it. I don't have to be the biggest Mayweather fan to know he's the best fighter I'll probably ever watch live.

Corrales isn't the most skilled fighter, but he has something your New York boys Tyson and Judah never had and never will: heart

Hagler was the best because he fought the best and won. We can only assume that Floyd is good because he wasn't stretched yet by anyone. For example a week ago some people thought that Judah is the one who can stop Mayweather. Do you still think the same now?

If no then lets wait with Mayweather greatness until he beat Hatton or Cotto and prove himself against Tszyu or Margarito. Just the way to prove to be great is by beating the great.

Mayweather reminds me of a young SRL. fast, good puncher if need be.

We still have to see if Pretty Boy has a steel chin like Hagler had. I agree PBF is one sick talent but he still has to prove it by emerging at the top of the food chain.

Right now, there's still Hatton and Cotto trying to kick his ass and some other lower lvl fighters.

He has to emerge as the sole winner atop a pile of defeated opponents.

Otherwise all that talent will go to waste.
