Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz on Potential HBO Clash With Joe Hanks

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with heavyweight contender Andy Ruiz (18-0) who had a successful return to the ring in March when he knocked out Mathew Greer in the first round of their fight that took place on the Tim Bradley-Ruslan Provodnikov undercard last month in California.

"We trained really hard and I stuck to my game plan, hitting him to the body and up top. Everything worked out and now I'm just waiting for my HBO fight," Ruiz explained while also mentioning a possible fight against Joe Hanks that would be televised by HBO if it comes to fruition.

That Andy Ruiz guy is a pretty athletic fat kid!
He still looked verry fat at 246, i think if he really would be in shape he would be a cruiserweight! He looks worse than Arreola and Solis ever looked! But as long as he can fight.......we will see how far that talented, athletic fat kid will go. Hes an exciting fighter.
