there will be no Vazquez vs Gamboa. Miguel "Titere" Vazquez

Power-wise, it would be an easy fight for Gamboa. Because he'd have the power advantage and would keep Vazquez on his bike, because Vazquez would not have the power to keep Gamboa off of him. Style wise, Vazquez may pose some difficulties for Gamboa with his boxing style, but Gamboa is an underrated boxer himself who doesn't really get to show it because he usually just blasts through his opponents. This fight would show Gamboa's full arsenal as a fighter, he'd have to be the aggressor like he's so used to, but I think he's also going to get involved in a chess match.

They seem to be avoiding Gamboa. So far he has challenged Broner and Vasquez. He ends up with an unknown Perez. The guy's career seems to have lost momentum. He's not getting any younger. So much time has been wasted since his TR defection and the Rios debacle. Makes one wonder whether it was the right decision.

Forget about Gamboa vs any GBP or Haymon fighter. I think with 50 Cent's twitter words for GBP, he's not getting a penny from them. And because him trying to get Floyd to leave Haymon, forget about Haymon fighters vs Gamboa. 50 burned those bridges before his first fight as a promoter even happened.

So you mean he burned two bridges. He pissed Arum too, remember? That's why this sport is ****ed up. Stars never get to fight stars because of these promoters, ie, Broner fighting Reese, then Malignaggi, Gamboa fighting Perez.

No one wants to step up and would rather see a talent like Gamboa's rot and get wasted.

Who promotes Vasquez? And yea I think 50 cent started out his promotion career wrongly, he isn't big enough or experience enough yet to do a Bob Arum.

First Ricky Burns turns away from the fight and now Gamboa. Vasquez is being avoided.
