In fairness to Tito, he wasn't a quitter. He could have easily quit against Hopkins and Winky, two fighters whom Tito did not win a round against.

I agree with the "Tito was a great fighter, but not an alltime great" assesment. You have to give the guy credit for moving up. He cleaned out the welterweight division eventhough he got a gift in the Oscar fight Ill admit it. If he would have stayed in welter he would have continued to dominate. I also think he could have benefited from a better trainer.

Agree with you 100% on this one. It can't be denied that he cleaned up the welterweight division. I think like RJJ and PBF(if he stays at 147) that Trinidad went up to much in weight. He still had power at middleweight but not the strength.

Just think about it, if any of the current jr. welter or welter weights cleaned up the 140-147 weight classes they too would be considered a great fighter.

All time greats IMHO are reserved for the extra extra special few i.e. Duran, Leonard, Robinson, Ali
