He lost to 3 Hall of Fame fighters DLH fight wasnt even close. Oscar easily won the first eight rounds. I have watched the fight numerous times and I challenge a Tito fan to tell me one round that he won from one to eight. It all comes back to the same point. What does Tito have in common with Princess Hamed? Neither of them legitimately beat a Hall of Fame Fighter in their primes. Clearly overrated. Also notice how after both of those quitters lost they ran back to their respective countries like crybabies. Coincidence?

Oscar De La Hoya, Pernell Wittiker, David Reid, William Joppy, Fernando Vargas, Ricardo Mayorga. Give him some respect. He's only been beaten twice in his career and by two great fighters. He's not an all time great but he is (was) a great fighter. Tito did have heart and he did persevere. He just quit at the right time rather than carrying on too long a la Roy Jones, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Bernard Hopkins etc etc

See there in lies the problem. You are an open-minded and unbiased fight fan. He was a good fighter but not an all time great. My problem with Tito lies more with his biased and close-minded fans. Most Puerto Ricans will say Tito is AN ALL TIME GREAT for no reason other than the fact that his is Puerto Rican and has a cult like following there. If Tito was black, white, or Mexican they would say he was a good fighter, not an all time great. There in lies the problem for me.

I totally agree, Tito got very far considering his trainer. I could only imagine how good he would of been with a Goosen or Freddie in his corner. And contrary to all the haters he has to be considered an all time great, He won belts in 3 different weight classes. Undisputed Welter weight champ and holds the record for the most defenses as a Welter. There arent to many fighters out there with a resume like that. The guy wouldnt only beat figthers he would destroy them, Oba Carr, Campas, Vargas, Ried those guys were undefeated before they faced Tito.

I believe his father did enough if not more then any other trainer would've done. Ya say fan boys, you dlh nutthuggers are the fan boys. You can say all you want about tito losing to DLH and I probably would've leaned over in the direction of most of you if the fight would've taken place in PR, but it didnt it was i DLH's backyard, so dont give me that ****,,,, DLH lost cause he ran like a ***** for six rounds on a super mega fight....What about the gifts that the mexican turd got against Sturm, noone says nothing about that. Get off of his ****. Tito blistered everyone he fought convingcingly and noone can take that away from him. He always went to fight, not box as he is a puncher. and whoopie doo he retired after losing, big deal, how many fighters retired after they faced tito? and if your little ***** dlh thought he was robbed why not the rematch? Ill tell you why, cause he knew that the next time around he would get koed. You want to know what is quitting? ask ya ***** DLH what happened in the bhop fight. Now that is quitting.
