The only time Marga was truly stopped (not on cuts vs Miguel) was against Sugar Shane. In that fight from the very first bell Marga didnt look the same as he did for whatever reasons (we all know what those are) previously so I wont count that as his prime.
I think Cheato looks more stable than Rios when either men get hit, he rarely get budged unlike Rios. I also think Rios' defense on the inside is underrated hence he actually takes a bit less punishment that people might think.

LLS at the bold that is because they have no other choice. Rios does block and roll shots more than he is given credit for. Rios doesn't have good defense but he doesn't take constant flush shot after flush shot like Margarito used to. But to answer your question I would take Margarito chin over Rios. But I will say this all those damn punches Rios just took in the Alvarado fight for his face to look barely damaged that man has some out of this world skin and non-swelling powers.
