    Canelo/Trout Weight will determine winner?

People are comparing this fight to Fernando Vargas/Winky Wright due to trouts boxing style However what i find more interesting is their weight will be a huge factor . Canelo started his career in jr welterweight division (140lbs) and over the years gone up to jr middleweight but hasnt fight a true jr middleweight like trout. trout who debut his career at jr middleweight (154lbs) and has maintained on that weight class .My question is will Canelo be able to carrier his power and keep trout on the ropes where he can do damage or will Trout use his foot speed and style to cruise to an easy decision? good example is trinidad/Bhop trinidad wasnt able to carrier his power to the new weight class and he paid a price.

Winky was actually the aggressor in that fight. Vargas was the boxer. I don't see that happening here.

I wouldn't say Trinidad didn't carry his power. He damn near killed Joppy. He just couldn't hit Hopkins.

whichever round canelo lands his left hook to the body/left hook upstairs combo will determine what round trout gets ktfo..

I think Canelo hits very hard for a 154 pounder. He started out as a 140 pounder because he turned pro at 15 years old. He is a natural 154 pounder now and I don't think Trout will outweigh him by more than 2 or 3 pounds on fight night. I think Canelo is just as fast as Trout and a better, smoother, combination puncher than Trout. Canelo hits hard with both hands to the head and the body and he puts out some beautiful combinations. I always bet on Canelo to win even though he is always a big favorite with the odds makers. I have put a few hundred bucks on him ever since I first saw him when he KOed Cotto's brother a few years ago. I did not bet on him in the Lopez fight because he was a 20 to 1 favorite. He is about a 10 to 4 favorite to beat Trout and I think he will win either by KO or wide ud. If Canelo does not win I will be out $500.

          It could.

Trout is a huge Jr MW and will be the bigger man.

I dont know how good trouts wiskers are, but he looked a little shaken by cotto so i say canelo can def do damage. Also he fought at those weights when he was a teenager im guessing trout would of as well in the amatures when he was that young.

Canelo went pro at 16. He grew out of that division, hes a natural 154.

No, I'm pretty sure it's all gonna come down to the punches.
