This is another form of shadow boxing! You move with an opponent and react and "think" about counters. Non contact must be a mma phrase because its NOT a boxing expression. This is shadowing with a partner as opposed to a mirror or moving in a ring alone!! Ray.

Lol @ some of the simple minded people in this thread. I bet you they also think the exercise "juggling" the balls is ****** too.

But let it be Donaire doing them then it would be GENIUS.

We did it in my gym sometimes at the start when we were shadowboxing

            What?

It's not sparring, it's working on movement and reactions. Fighters don't just work on punching, they work on their movement, angles to set up shots, etc...be it shadow boxing, rope exercises or this, it's all part of training.

You don't create a gameplan from simple training drills, you simply work on certain angles and punch set-up.

I wonder if puga ever even put handwraps on.

Of course he can throw a jab, nobody said he couldn't, what matters is what he does in real fights and he has the habit of only using his right hand as a range finder.

It would be the most amazing thing ever and he would KO Rigo in the first round.

Why juggle balls, when you can juggling chainsaws?
