Rigo till this day hasn't fought anybody worth note and his better challengers has taken him to the distance in a stinker.

It is impressive that with so little fights he has accomplished what he has and is fighting Donaire.

He can't be rated on skills alone cause he hasn't fought anybody. Being dismissive of Donaire's accomplishments and skills sounds like somebody trying to convince themselves about Rigo.

Rigo will pull a stinker and will lose a decision. When he can't take the pace of the fight he goes in defense mode and worst when he gets feinted.

I want Rigo to suprise me but Donaire is a far better fighter with much more experience at the top level.

This is like rating Broner and Russell that looks very impressive with the second tier of opponents. The skills they show is impressive but you can't rate them till they don't face the top fighters in their division.

Both Rigo and Donaire are best when they are counter-punching, both are devastating, can ko/kd anybody who leads against them. In this fight i just cant see Rigo ending up as anything other than the counter-puncher, whereas i can see Donaire trying to lead. When that happens i expect Rigo to take over.

I can also see Donaire work rate being cut significantly by Rigo's style, not many like to throw a huge amount of punches when each one can get you hurt.

Obviously Donaire by KO is not out of the question, the guy has huge power.

It's not brutal, heavy handed power, but he has very good power which timed with perfect technique and great speed makes his punches hard.
After watching Rigondeaux drop the natural 135 pounder Marroquin, you make a great solid point. The problem is that Donaire has a great chin and never gets caught flush like what happened to Marroquin.

Rigondeaux has had the best amateur career of any boxer. Rigondeaux has superb defense and real punching power, Donaire has his hands full on April 13. I give the slight edge to Donaire but wont be surprised if Rigondeaux wins.

Donaire has a great chin and it's going to take a perfect punch to put Donaire down.

He definitely has better punch variety than Rigo who is mostly a one-handed fighter.

Yeah Donaire's left hook is so great that fans overlook his very good straight right.
