You also refuse to admit that he's currently ducking Ward. Ward dont gaf about that friend trash, he wants to beat this dude's ass for a payday.
Who did Hopkins wait to fight? Don King kept Hopkins in the shadows for YEARS the only reason he was invited to the MW tournament was because King thought he'd be too old to do anything there. Hopkins came up the hard way.

Yea and before that fight, he couldnt even get a knock down over Rosado. You say its because Rosado was running, which Martinez has mastered. But I think its because GGG's power is not that impressive. Its a facade.

This thread is awesome. We learned that Chavez is a heavyweight. Macklin is so tough and durable a prime Hopkins couldn't have knocked him out. Rubio is elite. What else?

The hard way; Cherrypicking smaller guys? Waiting till Tarver had to lose all that weight? Was he with Don King, when he ducked Dawson for 3 yrs? Or faked the injury to get out of the fight? Or how about now, while he's manipulating Ward into thinking that just because their friends, they shouldnt fight?

Faked an injury? He rematched him immediately. He also beat a man who beat Dawson. Hopkins is far greater than Dawson could ever dream to be, and Hopkins is a middleweight.

Why are you making a this into a Hopkins v. Martinez resume debate?

And it's also funny how you left out guys like Antonio Margarito, and Saul Roman...

I could also give a list of the 23 guys Hopkins fought before Jones and I promise you won't recognize a single name and will find several guys with losing records (even after Jones). You can also look up his record pre-Trinidad and you'll see that excluding Roy Jones (a loss) and maybe a few others you'll hardly see any elite level opponents. That's because most fighters build up their resumes early on in their careers. Get it? It's not such an outlandish concept.

You also have to remember that Sergio got started late as a pro (Age 23) and started his career in Argentina (later Spain) fighting for pennies.

Hopkins sucks! He's not fleetfooted enough to beat the likes of Chavez!
