Terrible Boxrec Rankings for 140

I ain't interested in getting anyone flustered or whatever. I ain't saying boxrec this or boxrec that in general. I brought to attention the fact that they have a premier fighter below the top 10. Nothing else.

That's fine, but the counter point is that there's a thread that's saying "What the hell is wrong with Boxrec's rankings" every two weeks.

If you look at all the weight classes and pound for pound rankings, they're all out to lunch.

This is because no one is supposed to take their rankings seriously. They're primary purpose is to be a data base for fighters. They always have been working on a computer generated auto rankings system that does strange things.

No one seems to know this, and every couple of weeks, there's a "What's up with Boxrec" thread.

I know my boxers, so it's okay, but some might actually think that these rankings are official.

you went out of your way to make a thread against boxrec....you are not meant to take their rankings seriously at all, but, as mentioned by Bozo_yes_yes, view their database of fighters and records.....

The database is the best i have ever seen....and every time you want to learn about a fighter, you visit www.boxrec.com and you view the stats on that particular fighter........not to mention view dates of upcoming fights and undercards of certain shows.......

lol boxrec ranking is a joke :P . they have Chris BYRD as a No1 HW in the world, isnt that proof enough of their ranking being JOKE :P. miguel cotto is easily a Top5 140 pounder in the world. and NOT freakin 12

boxrec rankings are not determined by a computer but by the guy in bozo's avatar, he is what we call a "math whiz" he can do a couple theorems and tell you who will win any fight.

i know where my grammar mistakes are, but they are only in writing as it is difficult on my keyboard to always press shift+letter as i have a laptop. but you were using a word that was very very low for someone of a high school education! i won't even mention the major bit!

ask yourself: why do i (educated person) need to write/say "i ain't", when i know that it is totally wrong?
