lol boxrec ranking is a joke :P . they have Chris BYRD as a No1 HW in the world, isnt that proof enough of their ranking being JOKE :P. miguel cotto is easily a Top5 140 pounder in the world. and NOT freakin 12

Don't you think Cotto is a top 3 Jr. Welter? Anyway, there are some unknown guys with a higher ranking than Cotto. Boxrec is terrible.

why do people complain or care? a computer autos those rating based on a points system. nobody takes their rankings serious

well cotto definetly has the talent to be a top3 jnr welter but atm he needs to fight more top fighters. if u look closely currently top 3 junior welters are hatton,castillo,and kostya/gatti. all of these guyz have fought more top fighters than cotto. and mayb this is the reason why they are top 3 jnr welter in the world? personelly i think cotto should rank at number 4 atm cos hes better than gatti.

well don't pay much attention to boxrec's rankings in that way........it is a very good site overall and the stats are impeccable........the first thing an enthusiast does when hearing of unknown opponents is, he/she will visit boxrec.com to check out the records........

so don't take it for granted and you need not go out of your way to bad mouth it!

I say the same thing every time a thread like this pops up, which is about bi weekly.

Boxrec isn't known for it's rankings people.

I ain't interested in getting anyone flustered or whatever. I ain't saying boxrec this or boxrec that in general. I brought to attention the fact that they have a premier fighter below the top 10. Nothing else.
