June Options for Golovkin. Who should he fight?

Hearn would pony up for Geale, he said as much. Macklin would love for LDB to set him up for Geale, but HBO'd probably rather match either guy with GGG, and Lout can't muscle them on Macklin's behalf.Comment

Ward is injured until at least early fall, im not sure why people keep bringing him up. Ward wants a MW to move up? Gee didnt you criticize Golovkin for having guys come up?
Are Bursak and Konecny top fighters in the division? They're in the 15-20 range, its scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
Must be why Ward was trying to make the Chavez jr fight for june then huh? LMAO
Gee, hasn't Golovkin beaten smw guys before?
Check
LMAO, scrapping the bottom of the barrel? How about the bottom of the lmw journeyman barrel because that's what he has been doing as of late, at least they're both in the top 20 AT MIDDLEWEIGHT. Don't be a hypocrite all the time.
It's so brutally obvious that your only agenda is hiding behind this idea that poor triple G can't get a fight because no one will fight him but you openly dismiss available mw's because you say they aren't good enoug, yet non-ranked 37 year olds are good opponents. You don't want him to face good competition, just make up lies and lame excuses.Last edited by mathed; 04-01-2013, 07:11 PM.Comment

Golovkin is fighting at MW and has a belt there, what is this ridiculous expectation with him moving up rather then having the top guys step up, i dont understand. THen you criticize him for fighter others for moving up, and im a hypocrite. Golovkin's entire career has been at 160. Yes they are top 20 guys, what are the 15 better guys doing? They're ducking the fight. Look at who you're naming, they're not top 10 guys because you know they're ducking the fight.Gee, hasn't Golovkin beaten smw guys before?

Which Top LMW or MW was gonna fight him? Name some names. Ishida has been a MW for 3 years and his last 5 fight, just get over it already. It was also off tv, in monaco for little money. NO top fighter would accept that fight, stop pretend like they would and it was a stay busy fight.Last edited by Russian Crushin; 04-01-2013, 07:18 PM.Comment

Okay give me a reason why he can't fight the following opponents in 2013 or why Proksa is the only guy in the list he's fought so far.Ward is injured until at least early fall

I kind of agree. There's no way these chumps can hide from Golo forever. One of them has to surface at some point. I just hope that triple G does not get bored destroying the brave ones that step up.Comment

THe bold have ducked him or had promoters basically say they wouldnt have their fighters fight golovkin. Soloiman is facing the drug thing and probably a Gaele fight. Murray is fighting next month, He just fought proksa and vera was rejected by HBO for jan. You list names like he can fight ANY guy but wont discuss the context behind them, typicalOkay give me a reason why he can't fight the following opponents in 2013 or why Proksa is the only guy in the list he's fought so far.

here:Originally posted by HeroBandoOk let me give you the timeline
1. Start out promoted by Universum, who don't give a **** about him, mostly interested in shielding Sturm from him and other legit comp
2. GG tries to break out of contract, gets sued. Cannot fight in Germany or the US while in limbo, fights twice in Panama
3. Wins interim title 2 years ago. That means he is no longer ranked by the other bodies
4. K2 turn up the heat on the WBA for shot vs regular champ. Sturm buys super title to get a break
5. New interim champ NJikam skips purse bid when ordered to fight GG, drop title. Mandatory contender Mundine also skips purse bid, gives up spot
5. More pressure on WBA, Sturm attempts to unify, loses.
6. GG gets 2 HBO dates, nobody wants a shot at his title. Macklin rather takes Alcine on deep ppv undercard for half the money and no title shot.
7. Rubio said no to the fight and Vera was rejected by HBO
8. Pirog broke his back and pulled out from the fight
9. Hearns and Barker admit Golovkin is the guy to stay away from, eyes andy lee instead
10. Quillin says Golovkin isnt a big name and brings nothing to the table......signs to fight Guerrero
11. Dibella states Golovkin is "A fight that economically makes no sense" for Sergio, then signs to fight Murray
12. Macklin Turns down June 2013 fight because he only fought 1 round in 15 monthsLara is fighting angulo, Molina is fighting Smith154 Division: Both these guys are willing to fight him at 160
1. • Erislandy Lara
2. • Carlos MolinaThe Tommy fight was almost made, i dont remember y it fell apart. But have you seen rodriguez on the golovkin undercard?168 Division: Both these guys were willing to fight him; the main reason why they didn't fight GGG is because Golovkin tried to drain them at a catchweight.

HBO should just pay a low licensce fee get it over with. Golovkin vs Vera so he could get rid of his mandatory and Macklin vs Khurtsidze (who dibella just signed) would actually be fun.
Chavez said Barker is the main candidate for him so that frees up Vera.Comment
