    Barrera wants Pacquiao rematch!

Golden Boy Promotions matchmaker Eric Gomez told ********* Wednesday that the proposed Marco Antonio Barrera-Jesus Chavez fight is a no go for now. "For the moment, it will not go," said Gomez. "We are waiting to see what happens in the Pacquiao-Morales. Mr. Marco Antonio Barrera told us he will let us know who he will choose to fight him." Gomez said Barrera is interested in the possibility of a rematch with Pacquiao. "If Pacquiao wins, we are willing to make the fight happen on March 25. But, if he wins and gets injured, we could wait for him an extra month or so," Gomez revealed.

Other names mentioned for Barrera are WBO champ Jorge Barrios and WBA champ Vicente Mosquera. "Marco said he would be honored to fight a great champion like Jorge Barrios," commented Gomez. "We want him to fight the best out there. Barrios is one of them, but we will support him in wanting revenge against Pacquiao." As for Mosquera, "We had talks with Don King about Vicente Mosquera, because he had a good showing in the United States. We had talks, but no offers." Barrera vs Chavez for Chavez IBF lightweight title still remains an option. "Marco told us he was willing to fight Jesus Chavez," Gomez said. "On the other hand, Marco feels the lightweight division is too heavy for him. With Chavez, he would be taking a great risk."

The only funny thing here is he wants a fight that will definitely happen if manny wins... THe thing is "The Battle" is a toss up, anyone can win... Now if MAB really WANTS the rematch, then he should WANT to fight pacquiao, win or lose...

Props for at least having the guts to say the he WANT the rematch...

This is another ****ing propaganda. A week before Pacquiao's biggest fight, Barrera makes all these statements to try to distract Pacman.

Now, I really believe that Barrera is rooting for Morales.

        Barrera: "I want Pacquiao rematch!"
Actual meaning: "I want a 4th fight with Morales!"

        You ain't fooling us, Marco.

          Yeah, that makes sense

After getting destroyed by Pacman, I would expect Barrera to want a chance at revenge.

Critics, boxing experts, and fans expect the Pacquiao-Morales fight to be a full 12 round brawl. Let say Manny wins, isn't March 25 too early for a fight, even for Morales if he wins and face Barrera on that date. Just 2 months to recover and train for the fight. A better date should be somewhere in May or June.

Like i said, if Manny wins against Morales, i expect a rematch with Barrera(should be May or June). If Manny wins against MAB, then Manny vs Morales on November or December, then if Manny wins again, a rematch with JMM in 2007.

you know barrera, he wants to have the "edge" everytime... so facing a half-rested manny will do for him... lol...

seriously, your latter statements makes sense... if manny wins against EM, they will set up another trilogy... if manny wins against MAB, then he has set his place in barrera's history... and then JMM in 2007... give manny a break... give him fana or peden to rest... lol...

Ok, I don't know whose dumber. Barrera for saying as early as March, or Manny if he were to accept it. Let's see here, January(Manny's current fight), February(win or lose, Manny takes 1 full month for recovery, March(Marco expects to face Manny). Now does he sound ****** or what? No relaxing after a hard fought war Manny might of gone through? No recoverying from all the punishment he may go through? No preparing for at least 10 to 8 weeks minimal? Yeah, definitely should take the fight as soon as this one ends. Barrera sounds ******er by the minute or his promoter(I'd rather not call Barrera ****** since he's badass and super smart in the ring).
