His power and speed great but technically was nowhere Jones was and Jones took over the light heavyweight division. Something Pacquiao never really did!

Jones in his prime was a freak and got away with allot of things that would not be proper, technique wise. The man did it on pure talent.

Take B-hop on the other hand... One of the reasons for his longevity is because the man has relied on technique from the start. Something he still does at an old age when a person's god given abilities start to diminish.

      I don't see you argument.

Who would you have wanted Manny fight at 126-135?

Jones's technical game is garbage he relied purely on his athleticism.

Also got busted for steroids after the fight. Something Manny never tested positive for.

Jones was never the same after the Ruiz fight. Similar to all the other fighters that tested positive for BALCO during that era. They made them, Vargas, Mosley, RJJ, more muscular, but arguably worse boxers.

Pacquiao, Floyd, and Hopkins (though Hopkins lost H2H to Jones in the 90's) are greater than Jones, I'm sorry but it's true.

Roy is around the Top 40 to me, Floyd and Manny the Top 30 or so, and Hopkins around the Top 25 or so. My opinion.

Very hard to split them, but I'm going with Jones simply because he looked unbeatable for so long, just an awesome athlete. Both are absolutely great fighters and ATG's, so all the arseholes claiming either to be a hypejob or just an athlete with no technique really need to start following another sport.
