I don't get it why most of the fans and so called experts thought Rios will beat Mike, even in their first fight Alvarado showed that he's a better boxer, when he used his jab and moved on his feet he was winning it easily, he lost by his own ******ity. But it was clear he won't fight that kind of fight again,I don't know why so many people were talking he'd lose again. Rios is limited, he's fun to watch but that's it.
Is anyone not suprised with Alvarado beating Rios?

I'm surprised and I'm a Denver native, so you know I was pulling for Alvarado big time. I just didn't think Alvarado would stick to the game plan, which was basically move and circle around, switch southpaw to show Rios a different look (Rios also didn't really touch Mike too much when he was standing southpaw), clinch when tired or when needed (still didn't slow the fight though because it was a great fight), work the jab from the outside a lot, and throw combinations all night.Comment

It was hard for people to imagine Alvarado being able to box for 12 rds not brawl. Remember its not like Mike is a master boxer. He's just a better boxer then Rios and in the first fight he showed ability to out box him and pound him cuz u ain't gonna keep bam bam away with just boxing. Need to hit him with some thunder too.Comment

Surprised is too strong a word for how i felt, i had Rios winning going into fight one and still thought he'd take it going into fight two despite Alvarado seeming the more dangerous of the two and the fighter with more options also (boxing) in their first battle. It was anyones going in and really even after 12 rounds that was still the case. I had Alvarado up 1 point but we need a Rubber match Yo!Comment
