    So on and so forth.

I really don't see how this rivalry is helping boxing
    Dude, stop this nonsense.

GBP don't even let their stars fight each other let alone fight rival ones. Who was Matthysse's last fight? Who was Broner's last fight? Who was Alvarez's last fight? And so on.

GBP and Haymon are into this weird culture of building up stars and make tons of money fooling gullible fans like you.

I agree with the Canelo aspect and probably Garcia as well. But Peterson-Mathysse is a good fight even though I want neither guy to lose.

But Rios has been fighting cake fighters as well. Abril was a cherry pick gone bad. I'm not even going to talk about what Pac did for a few years (i.e. Mosley).

Hell, Rios' resume doesn't even compare to someone like.... Victor Ortiz for example.

My whole point is GB tried to make the hottest fight that could've been made right now with Mathysse and Rios and it got turned down. GB gave all the incentive as far as guaranteed money.

Gamboa has been calling out Broner. Well-intentioned promoters would have grabbed this opportunity to make this once in a lifetime fight. Haymon/GBP didn't even lift a finger.

They're letting Matthysse fight Peterson because the latter is expendable (having been involved in ped cases.) Why not Matthyse vs Khan? Or Matthysse vs Garcia? Even better is Matthysse vs Broner considering he is willing to climb up two divisions.

Haha I don't like Arum but he owned the shit out of Haymon and Oscar. That was brutal.

Matthysse's last fight was against Dallas, but before that he fought Olusegun, Garcias mandatory rival. Like Provodnikov, a solid not known fighter. Wiith Broner and Alvarez, i agree.

This right here. ^ GBP don't see Matthysse as a commercial character. Too bad, cuz imho he's the big thing @140.

I didn't mean to say Matthysse is a protected guy. The guy will fight anyone put in front of him. I meant that their stars are being protected by staying out of Matthysse's reach.

Arum is more vocal but Dela Hoya is becoming like him.

Too bad the riff between the two promoters, great fights will not happen now. Its like becoming MMA, Golden Boy and Top Rank should just made their own world titles. Like the UFC and PrideFC back then.
