Hilarious.............. but also a load of rubbish. GBP has been much more willing to put their fighters in tough fights than TR over the years.

Martinez/Magdaleno and Donaire/Rigondeaux are coming up very soon. These fights don't scream FOTY, but it's possible that they play out in a way we don't foresee.

but I give props to Toprank Rigo vs Donaire is not something I expected Toprank to go through with so respect for them making it happen
Yeah, but Cotto was a financial option for GBP and Mayweather. Who else was he going to fight? We need to put that on the table. He's on the line to take a beating from Canelo, so he's clearly a toy soldier in GBP.

Mayweather/Cotto was a fight of the year Candidate?
          Pacquiao Marquez IV was..
Rios Alvarado I was.. And btw, you only need one fight to be a FOY candidate.
Pacquiao Marquez I was, Pacquiao Marquez II was, and Pacquiao Marquez IV was awarded 2012 FOY. So, dude, plzzz.

I tell you one thing though. This rivalry will continue to produce some good quality fights with each company trying to out do one another.

Learn about how the beef started, its all on Oscar and Richard, go look at the timeline.

Oscar stole Pacman from right under Arum, and than went on Radio and was taking digs at Arum even said he beat the biggest *** to come out of Harvard, Arum was able to get Pacman back, but Arum never had to maek a truce with those ingrates, yet he did and they squashed it and I think they got 12 percent from any Pacquiao fight on ppv too, now Golden boy at the time knew they needed Arum to make fights, Floyd was retired, and Pacman was the biggest draw possible to pit against golden boy fighters. Pacman basically fought golden boy fighters since the TRUCE! so where is this bob arum crap?

Pacman fought Barrera 2, JMM 2, Oscar, Hatton all Golden boy fighters, than Floyd came back and Richard and Oscar started talking big again, and than even jumped on the crap on Manny Pacquiao wagon with the steroid allegations. Since than Pac hasn't fought a golden boy fighter, its not Arum who started this its the Golden Boy A holes. biting the hand that fed them they are the real two faces here. They were kissing Arum and Pacs ass when Floyd was retired and they had no more cash cow than Floyd comes back they talked crap and caused the division.

That is what is on Golden Boy, the ungrateful scumbags.

So tell me now how is it Arum's fault? Because he has PRIDE? he doesn't like Golden Boy, and he is a business man, why is it okay for Al Haymon to baby his fighters and Golden boy to do in house bouts and coddle their fighters, but Arum cant do inhouse bouts as a business man?

You guys live off Floyds word, just like with this 50 cent thing, before he was the man than he was a two face slimeball when he left Floyd and exposed him for being scared and greedy. When the truth is 50 cent was actually trying to help Floyd be his own man and not a Al Haymon puppet, Haymon is Floyds boss and controls his money.

Have you been watching Goldenboy fights blindfolded all these years or are you drinking that Bob Arum Koolaid?

From last year to the present Goldenboy has put on:Ortiz vs Josepito Lopez, Berto vs Guerrero,Matthyse vs Humberto Soto,Devon Alexander vs Maidana,Perterson vs Holt,Broner vs Demarco and many other good fights.Name me one bad fight out of those list? And unlike top rank, some of their fights were co-promotions with other promoters.

These are the fights Goldenboy has coming up:Matthyse vs Peterson,Danny Garcia vs Zab Judah,Trout vs Canelo,Mayweather vs Guerrero,Erisandy Lara vs Alfredo Angulo and Abner Mares vs Daniel Ponce De Leon. These are all potentially great fights.

That's the best scenario i can imagine. Still, lot of really good fights that might never happen.

I mean how long would this Haymon guy get it?
GBP is in cahoots with Haymon. Look at what they did to Alvarez's career. The guy is a talented fighter. They protected him like they did Berto. He could have beaten the perceived tough guys in his division.
