Everyone wants a Floyd fight if they can get it. That's the best payday in boxing. Ward is no different.

Now Bute will fight him at 175 and be the bigger man, just like he was all along.

Chavez fights Ward at 175 and you can take it to the bank that Chavez will outweigh him by 7-10lbs on fight night.

Not that I don't have an issue with Ward calling out Chavez, but we can't pretend like Jr. is a true MW either.

i don't think chavez jr is moving up this year. i would have liked to seen chavez jr move up in his upcoming fight against someone like pavlik, and then he could have gone after someone like abraham. that would have been a nice build up to chavez/ward. that's all gone now cause one is retired and the other just lost.
who is left at SMW? oosthuizen, stieglitz, or kessler/froch winner? i'd rather see him move up and face the stevenson/dawson winner for those 175 lb belts he should have been holding already. if kovalev keeps steamrolling guys, he'd be a great opponent for ward in a year or so. ward should move to 175 after this year imo.

that pascal thing was hilarious. Everyone swore bute had no1 to fight during the s6 but as soon as u mentioned Pascal ppl got quiet or claimed bute was too small. Lmao. Pathetic.

              Ward would dominate Chavez.

It's not an issue of size. Chavez Jr. is a crap boxer who was thoroughly spanked by Sergio Martinez. If you're going to fight a middleweight then fight the number one in the division, if he wants to fight Chavez Jr then wait for him to prove that he is a better fighter at Super Middleweight.

Don't really need an excuse to watch another one of my favourites deliver a whipping to one of my least favourite.

Would watch it. Not sure if Chavez would manage to be competitive at any point.
