    I scored it 8-4 Brandon Rios...go figure

I thought he took rnds 8,9,10,11 although those were given to Alvarado. I also gave Brandon the 4th round (I think). I just thought Brandon's shots were a lot more effective Mike's shots just looked worse and the crowd was on his side to amp them up to the judges. But just look at his face and look at Brandon's face. I know the face doesn't tell the story of the fight, but he was moving away from Brandon all night because of his power, so with them landing a near equal amount of punches, I give it to Brandon.

Brandon was walking him down and throwing a lot more frequent. You cant ignore 84 pitter patter punches every round, those add up. Alvarado's punches looked better to the crowd but Brandon was eating them. I believe him when he said he wasn't hurt. You dont smile when your hurt and on the verge on being knocked down. Mike, on the other hand was hurt several times.

But I dont take nothin away from Mike Alvarado that was another great fight and I look foward to the third one. I actually wanted Mike Alvarado to win and was glad when Buffer announced a rubber match, I didnt think too highly of Rios' attitude hopefully a loss on his record humbles him a little bit. But I honestly scored it 8 rnds to 4 him. His punches were simply doing more damage than Alvarado.

115-113 seemed fair to me for Alvarado.

I'll watch it again because it was a great fight, but I think the right man won tonight.

Don't think my mind will be changed upon a second viewing.

Whatever. I know Alvarado was "boxing" and he was doing a good job of it but what the everyone seems to ignore is that Rios was cutting the ring off landing with many many short punches.

wow i was gona give u props when i read the title, but 9, 10, 11, 12 were clearly Alvarados those were the most clear rounds u could ever scored

i thought the fight was closer then people are scoring it, Rios is the harder puncher n Alvarados reflects that, i think Alvarados body shots are what slowed down Rios, early rounds were very close, 1,2,4,5,6 i scored for rios n 6,7,8 i think could of gone either way, 3,9,10,11,12 were clear Alvarado, if u scored a draw or Rios up by a point or 2 i wouldnt argue

very disrespectful Rios at the end
