[QUOTE=marvin douglas;13198473]I'm just wondering, does Rios ever practice making his opponents miss? I've never seen a world class fight get hit flush on the face as does Rios. Also, If Mike A. had any semblance of power in his punches, he would have KO'ed Rios.

Besides, these guys are not in the same class as Broner. He would KO both inside of 5 rounds.[/

We just got a classic and you want to bring up Broner? SMH.

Alvarado could have gone for a stoppage several times but out of discipline and respect, he held back. Great win for him. I favor him to ko Rios in the 3rd fight.

Great fight. Alvarado won it close. Rios needs to work on that stamina and defense. Pretty much got shut out there at the end. I'm really surprised Alvarado kept his composure after what could have been a disastrous beginning, buckled down, came back and outboxed Rios down the stretch. Can't wait to see the third and hope they come out with enough to give the rest of the division a run for their money.

Because Rios has been talking trash about my boi; that's why. And I don't like it. I can't wait until my man Broner KO's both of these bums. You heard it hear first.

There we go, that makes sense. Alvarados stamina was too good.

I take back my PED accusations.

You can't take it back. The damage is done. It's like calling your mother a whore and then saying you are sorry. It just doesn't work.

I had it 116-113 for Alvarado, but I have no problem with a 115-113 scorecard.
I agree, he really earned the victory tonight, didn't think he would be able to box Rios like that, but Alvarado did show boxing skills in past fight, and he showed it tonight!. What a battle
