For me it's guys like Bert Cooper, Mugabi, Augustus, etc. Guys that fought everybody in their era and were tough as nails, but just couldn't get over the hump.

****, Augustus is a great one. That's exactly the fighter I'll take the time to explain to my kids about if they Boxrec'd him and saw the losses.

Saw someone mention Matthysse, his HOF chances are pretty slim considering his age. If he continues to be a bad man for a few more years, he's a good one too.
