It makes sense if you think GBP considers Angulo a good bet to defeat Lara, but I just don't see it. If you're right, then I think Erislandy is going to upset some plans.

I knew Angulo would never amount to anything after seeing him get outboxed by Kermit Cintron, Angulo hasn't done much since then except beat a bunch of bums and smaller fighters, and get KO'd Kirkland.

On top of that he's with the wrong trainer. Hunter's a good trainer but he's all wrong for Angulo, plus there's a language barrier. Angulo needs a trainer that's all about offense to bring the best out of him, someone like Robert Garcia, Freddy Roach, or even Joel Diaz.

What I'm saying is, GB is probably banking on Lara's slow starts and that "he struggles vs pressure".

Nacho was with him for 3 or 4 fights but Nacho decided not to work with him anymore after the Kirkland fight. Nacho said they had a great game plan to beat Kirkland but Angulo just would't listen, he said a lot other shyt about Angulo too, basically said Angulo didn't learn 1 thing while he was with him.

Angulo needs an all action balls to the wall trainer to bring the best out of him IMO.

Angulo has that power though. If he lands big he could get the KO.

He's got the ol' puncher's chance. But "Perro's" so damn slow, and his power seemed a little off against Silva. Lara is going to hit and not be hit. Tough to win fights when you're on the receiving end of that formula.
