Haymon/GBP will never let it happen.

If you've noticed, Matthysse is always pitted againts an expendable, but never against a GBP star.

Nobody on here can make that happen. Only Mayweather can make it happen and he always does what ever he wants to do within reason. I would love to see that fight but I like the Guerrero fight and I don't think it's dead yet.

i thought about that but the date would have to be pushed back. cotto won't fight on a months notice. even against mayweather. matthysee would. alexander or brook would. they're all training for fights.

That would be an amazing fight if both Peterson and Guerrero can't fight! Matthyse will finally get to prove his worth on the big stage.

I would want to see it at 147lb..

Cotto should really just move back down to 147lb anyway..He'd make noise right now..
