Bernd Boente, manager of the Klitschko brothers, believes that WBC champion Vitali will defend his belt in England next year against two-weight world title holder and arch-rival David Haye. Haye, 31, was offered the chance to fight 41 year-old Klitschko this coming September, but turned down the fight and duly dispatched former Vitali opponent Dereck Chisora seven rounds quicker than the Ukrainian.

I wouldn't mind, but I won't take anything against Vitali if he chooses not to.
Haye has a different route towards Wlad - via Povetkin, Pulev and Fury. I prefer that one as apart from Chisora I can't think of the fighter Haye beat in his prime..Comment

As I understood from this he is saying there is a possibility - he didn't really promise anything.http://www.boxingscene.com/klitschko...3-clash--55393

You won't have anything against Vits if he keeps fighting the Charrs of the division, but you think Haye needs to fight Povetkin, Pulev and Fury? Seems like a bit of a double standard, doesn't it? Shouldn't Vits have to fight these same fighters?Comment

Vitali should fight Haye sooner rather than later, chasing Haye around is a younger man's game and Father Time has been catching up to Vitali. So if Haye is in his plans he should fight him next, if Haye is not he should fight is mandatory take that check and ride off into the sunset.
I really don't have much of a problem either way, but watching other people trip is Vitali took route two would be pretty damn entertaining.Comment

Saying Vitali is scared of Haye is pretty ridiculous IMO.
He's looking his best interest. He is getting more to Haye by not fighting him than Wlad did by beating him.
Taking into account what David pulled off prior to Wlad's fight I can't take anything on Vitali for not being direct.
Does anyone really think Haye would be more complaisant if the situation was the opposite...Comment
