This is correct. I'm from NYC and there is a minimum sentencing guidline of 3 1/2 years for illegal gun possession. I bet he will say that he is licensed to carry in his home state and wasnt aware that it was illegal to carry it in NY

There's the loophole. And nowhere in that report does it say it was illegal possession. Also, how did he get it out of Cali without being detected?
