Good point and i got it. I admit that the philippines is nowhere near the top countries that produces a number of champions. BUT we also have a rich prizefighting history dating back from the early 1900's.

When i started watching this sport. There's not many but we always have a Legit champion. From Rolando Navarrete to dodie boy Penalosa, Luisito Espinosa, Gerry Penalosa and PACMAN, These guys are within TOP 3 to 5 in their division.

PLUS guys that was able to win an Alphabet belt like Rolando Pascua, Rolando Bohol, Malcolm Tunacao and a few others that i cant remember now( Boxrec Fighter search is down )

Not mentioning the Legends. Pancho Villa(Francisco Guilledo), Gabriel Flash Elorde and Cererino Garcia.

PACMAN is not the only one we have. We have some before and we could have more in the future (I hope ).

There are so many Pac supporters who don't really give a damn about boxing outside of their hero.

don't sound too judgemental...it doesn't necessarily mean thet newbies on this board are ignorant in boxing. and even if most of them do, i think it's good for boxing in general because pac's exciting style help rekindle boxing interest to a wide audience, not only in the philippines but asia.

Okay, since I'm confused as hell over this post, the only thing I feel 100% safe in replying to is that Erik does not deliver "powder" shots...That man hits hard as hell and that's not just coming from a fan, that is fact.
(Actually, I liked the part of you being a fan of Morales..but the **** I can do without. At first I thought you were saying that since I thought that Morales would win, so did you.. but I know better than that cause I dont have that kind of pull with anyone here )

Then, I notice that I wrote power shot so I inserted d between w and e to come up with powder shot to make the confusion complete. Basically, my subliminal message is that, I'm still with my homey pacman no matter what happen. Forget about the **** thing I put it there as nonsense.

My belief is that in this fight anything can happen and as much as boxing is a game of skills , there is also the element of luck- lucky punch my dear. In the skill department, I give EM the slight advantage, but in the luck department, I hope EM will not be wreckless and engage pacman into mano a mano all hell break loose style even unconsciously because one well timed lucky punch might bring him to the canvass for good and that would be the end for him. Of course EM carry powers with both fists but MAB just brushed them off. You know what I'm saying?

no disrespect pareng kadyo but i don't really believe in lucky punch unless the one throwing it has his eyes shut. ko punch is a skill attained thru diligent training and ring experience. it is achieved by a fighter's excellent reflexes, proper balance transfer, correct hip pivot and adequate follow through.

No.....for two reasons.

First = I'm a boxing fan. I've watched all of my favorites lose at one point or another.

Second = I'm not a Morales fan. I'll probably root for Pacquiao when they fight.

personally i think it would take more than one loss to morales. maybe if morales jmm mab and injin chi all beat pack in dominating fashion and there is no other pinoy pugilist is around then i see it a possiblity. but i hate to break it to ya....i don't see that happening. pac ain't gonna be easy for anyone in the game right now.

moron, where did i say, if pac loses, you would kick out his fans? you made it sound that that the reason pac is on this thread is coz of pacfans who don't care about nothing but pac? sorry to tell you, pac is a boxing news now, so believe it or not people are gonna be talking him on boards like this whether he loses or not. only 1 convincing win is enough for a great fighter to comeback in the scene (that is if he loses but i doubt it).

by the way, boxingscene has a philippine based staff writer nathanielz, so unless bs fires him boxing news from that country are gonna find their way here for people to discuss.
