He lost 7 clear rounds to lucas (including the KD) and 9 clear rounds to Kotelnik.....they were nowhere near close fights. In fact combine the rounds he won in both fights and he still wouldnt have enough to win a 12 round fight. Typical NSB crap, if the guy didnt KO him, it can go either way

I disagree with how many rounds you are "clearly" giving to Matthysse in both of those fights. We would probably disagree on the Judah-Matthysse fight as well.
Just because your guy didn't win doesn't mean it was a robbery. Like I am constantly told about Froch-Dirrell and several other bouts.Comment

Then give the rounds, break it down. Just like any person arguing for Judah or Devon, they are unable to give a round by round breakdown. Once they attempt to, they are shut down by video analysis. So after that they resort to judging the fight based on fancy footwork and running, not counting clean punches landed. Most denier saw the fight for Lucas as well which is funnyI disagree with how many rounds you are "clearly" giving to Matthysse in both of those fights. I wasnt a fan of Lucas when his fights with Devon and Judah happened, in fact i barely knew who he was. I was also a big Devon fan and thought he was the next big thing when he fought KotelnikComment

Never seen Zaurbek, so I don't really know if this is a big step-up or not, maybe someone can give a heads up on him. Either way I'll be watching to see how Andrade can do - I like seeing Americans travel and fight out of their element.Comment

I can actually give you a round by round breakdown but I'd have to sit down and rewatch the fights to do that. Not to mention that you'd still find something to disagree with on the breakdowns anyway.
So no thanks. I don't care enough to go through all that effort.Comment

Like i said, those who have him winning refuse to break down the fights and just say "it could have gone either way" or just judge the fight on everything but clean punches landedComment

100% true. No one even watches these fights.
If they do they watch like the first three rounds and then stop watching. Because someone usually ends up opening their mouth, then goes and reviews the fight realizes that they made a big mistake and then doesn't bother post on NSB for a week hoping people forget.
The Matthysse fight was closer than the Kotelnik fight. Even though Matthysse won.
But the Kotelnik fight was a complete travesty. Kotelnik jabbed him to death.Comment

Yes I was going to say Getmany is pretty much the biggest robbery country in europe BUT I didn't mention because recently Germany has actually been decent. Felix Sturm lost his last two fights on the cards, in really close fights that could of gone the other way for example.Germany is robbery central in europe, but not as bad as the US
Its funny how people bring up spots and say anybody who goes there will get robbed, while nobody has actually been robbed there but want the foreign fighters to come to the US where robberies are most frequent
With that being said, I still think the USA is worse and has some of the worst officiating, judging and overall bias I have ever seen in the last 7-9 years.
(Dont get me wrong Germany has been terrible as well through the years)
Very true to the second part of your post though, and I agree 100%Last edited by King_; 03-27-2013, 12:09 AM.Comment
