Wlad's opponent Pianeta is 28, Audley was 39 when Haye fought him.
Vitali's opponent Sosnowski was never great, but at least he was in his prime unlike Barrett, Ruiz, and Harrison.
Mormeck was admittedly a poor opponent for Wladimir, but no worse than old Audley.
Well the Haye-Harrison fight was due to Harrison having one of his weird second comings and regaining the European HW title, setting up a massive domestic fight where both fighters got paid.... Haye would have been ****** to have turned down that fight. Negotiations where taking place for the Klitschko's during this time also. The Mormeck fight has no justification at all. Audley was terrible because of hindsight, people genuinely thought he had a chance. Mormeck, well, it's not really comparable. He had no chance from the outset, what was the point? Seems a desperate comparison. The Klits recent opposition isn't any better than Haye's..... really not a bitter pill to swallow.
Haye is 33 this year, it's around this age that fighters start to lose their legs and movement.
A lot of heavyweights actually come into prime form during this age. The ages that Heavyweights and Cruiserweights prime compared to the other weights is much different, probably due to the body
Agreed chap. It is time for David to knuckle down, get some decent rounds under his belt rather than press conferences, and show us that he's the man set to dominate a post K brother world.
Personally speaking, I think David has finally grasped the fact that he cannot out-negotiate the K brothers or simply bait them into fighting him.
But he is ideally placed to rule the roost after they've left the scene because there's not that much to beat and the one guy seriously standing in his way, just happens to be a massive payday called Tyson Fury.
I've heard - from a fairly credible source - that its Povetkin.
That would be good, I think Haye stops him pretty easily if the Huck fight is anything to go by. Povetkin isn't the greatest mover, and Haye is one of the most elusive heavyweights i've ever seen... I don't think anyone Haye's size has any chance of beating him atm. Can Povetkin's chin hold out against one of the most powerful punchers in the world? Chisora's didnt
Only thing i'm worried about are those dodgy connections Povetkin has. If we look back to the Huck/Povetkin fight (which I thought Povetkin lost handily), we saw death threats to both Huck and his family, where the police had to be involved. It's a bit unsettling that in the modern world, people still do this kind of thing.
Haye will kill povetkin. Anyone near his size would easily lose as haye will land all day while countering. I still think he will lose again to wlad like last time. Jab and grab will finish haye again imo. Unless haye is ultra aggressive

Saying that, Haye could come out and announce the Vitali fight. We just don't know.
All i've heard is that Hayemaker have been in lengthy negotiations with Sauerland...

Povetkin isn't THAT bad. He's an Olympic gold medalist with a decent inside game.
The most disappointing thing about Haye is that he never fights. I'd probably make him favourite (to varying degrees) over any non-Klitoris heavyweight right now. But he only seems to want Klit action.
Just think of all the times we could have seen him in the ring over these past years, his sweat-soaked pecs grinding in action, his shorts tightening...
Sure not some big amount, let's say 200 mil? And i really hope to lose beacuse that would be hell of a fight.

David Haye can make a lot of money. No matter what people say, he is appealing and creates headlines. Women love him, guys love or hate him, but he puts bums on seats.
