I believe this fight is mostly promoted by TMT and not so much GBP, maybe GBP would of promoted the fight more had Canelo/Trout been the undercard, but I get a feeling Floyd is a little bit on his own from now on, so he wasn't ready to do promotional tours and press conferences with such short time, but it seems like in april they will start doing all they can.
Serrously where is the promotion on Floyd vs Guerrero

I was asking the same thing last week as I never saw an official press conference / tour or anything. We're coming into the last month before the fight and I assume we'll start seeing Fight Camp, All Access, etc. But even with the Cotto fight, we saw a lot of coverage leading into that fight be it Youtube, press visiting camps, HBO coverage, etc. In comparison, I haven't seen much of anything promoting this fight let alone JUST finding out the PPV is called "Mayday".Comment

As long as Mayweather is involved, Golden Boy will fully be involved. Floyd isn't putting out his own money to promote the fight (let alone Mayweather Promotions isn't actually a real promotional company). Guerrero is signed to Golden Boy on top of the rest of the undercard being all Golden Boy fighters.I believe this fight is mostly promoted by TMT and not so much GBP, maybe GBP would of promoted the fight more had Canelo/Trout been the undercard, but I get a feeling Floyd is a little bit on his own from now on, so he wasn't ready to do promotional tours and press conferences with such short time, but it seems like in april they will start doing all they can.Comment

Asking where is the promotion for a Floyd fight at this point of his career, is like asking why don't we see Ferrari or Lamborghini commercials. Or Jordan shoe commercials. Etc.
None of these things need promotion, because they are established brands with a large hardcore fanbase that don't need promotion or television to know about what these brands are currently doing.
Floyd announces on Twitter/FB that he's going to fight and a storm develops. All types of media and fans are on the news. Floyd doesn't need to do anything. But give it time, i'm sure there will be some promotion any way.Comment

24/7 ain't started yet dude.
It always feels like this when it's a little over a month from a big fight, like "where's the hype?" then it snowballs over the next few weeks. If they start pushing it too early, people will lose interest before the fight happens.Comment
