I feel like something is off. I swear Rios vs Alvarado is getting more push. I kniw Floyd is in camp but i got a feeling Floyd isnt really feeling this situation. Hes done all the work really.

Everybody involved know's it's just a Cherry pick and a tune-up for Floyd. There's no need for heavy promotion, it would just be a waste of money.

It does seem to lack, maybe it has to do with no HBO platform? This might be Floyd's first fight since fighting Hatton that doesn't crack a million PPV buys (which even at say, 900k, is still a great figure).

I agree with this. Hell I've done more promotion for Donaire-Rigo than Top Rank has. And unfortunately so far, it has been a tough sell.

showtime is rebranding floyd as best they can. the rome interview, the greenburg jail special. once they feel they've presented a "cleaner" (for lack of a better word) floyd they will push the fight more on TBS/TNT/CBS and do the all access.
