The one thing that I was getting at before is that there are different kinds of steroids. From what I understand, the steroids found in him were anabolic which wouldnt be found in medicine but only in the performance enhancing type. But I could be wrong

No it doesn't...he was dumb/ignorant and one should never put anything that they aren't 100% sure about in their body. He was punished for it and continues to be punished for it. However, I can't agree with going to extremes and calling a 1st ballot HOF, all-time great champion like James Toney a fraud for something like this.

I just can't see how you can like a guy like Vargas (you are a Vargas fan correct?), while ridiculing Toney for this.

I'm a big Toney fan..in fact I consider him one of the only great great fighters who are fighting today. But quite honestly I think Toney took one of those thinning steroids. like Windstraw or whatever its called. not all juice is for bulking. who knows, it could've been from the bicep juice. One thing is for sure, Toney will roll over that punk hasim "lucky punch" rahman come march 18th.

all the frauds I can think of have already been named, except jones jr., he isnt and was never a fraud. and whoever said he was is a ****.

Vargas is a fraud too. I like him personally...but am forced to discredit many of his achievements because of his steroid use.

This has absolutely nothing to do with achievements...per say. Because I'm totally aware of Toney's history as a fighter.

I just think ignorance is no defense to the law, and I've been harsh/critical of Vargas in the past as well. I'd have to dig through my posts to find it however.
