That’s like it doesn’t much matter which of those two paths a guy chooses so long as he’s focused on it. If Broner accepts that kind of crap thinking there’s trouble ahead for him in life no matter how good a fighter he might become.

Ummmmmmmmmm... I dont think his mom felt the need to spell it out for him is all. She certainly wasnt saying "whichever one you pick, i will be behind you 100% honey!" Kinda goes without saying, get out of the streets, stay out of jail. you cant do both.
