well the way I see it Trout didnt put a fading Cotto away with a KO so I cant see him doing it to a younger prime Canelo

Canelo will be very active and pushing the fight so I think that will get him the nod on the cards, there is no way GB are letting the next cash cow lose

Nope but Canelo nearly was put away by Miguel Cottos LW coke head brother.

im not a fan of canelo at all but you cant deny although trouts opposition has been a bit better than canelos its still pretty weak up until the cotto fight.

Im not sold on trout does nothing special in my eyes just comes across as an akward fighter

I, too, am very intrigued by this fight, and think it's one of the better fights that have been put together recently.

I think Alvarez will win, but it's not a lock by a long shot. Trout is smart fighter with very good hand speed, good conditioning, and underrated power. Because of that, he definitely has a shot to win the fight either by late round knockout or decision.

To do that, however, he's going to have to stay away from the ferocious body punching of Alvarez, which means establishing a punishing jab and maintaining some healthy distance throughout the course of the fight.

As I said, I see Alvarez winning, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go the other way. I just think there's a good chance that Alvarez will force this fight to take place in his wheelhouse, which is a fight Trout cannot win.
