Not sure Arthur wanted much more. Seemed resigned and overwhelmed.
This right here. I felt the stoppage was premature, but when Abraham didn't contest the referee's call whatsoever, I felt like he didn't have a chance against the mentality of Stieglitz at all.

I agree with resigned, but overwhelmed im not so sure. Arthur has always just stood there in his guard whenever someone threw and he could see that his opponent was loading up huge on every punch. I think he intended to weather the storm knowing you cant load up like that without punching yourself out after a few rounds. Then his eye closed faster than ive ever seen a punch close one. Weird fight.
props to Rob....he tagged Abraham with a good right hand that damaged the eye
both dudes were supposed to wear Adidas gloves...but at the Rules Meeting Abe's weighed only 9 ounces....so after a lil' politicing, Rob was allowed to wear his usual brand which he felt was a harder glove(his words not mines)

the German commentator was talking about it during the telecast.....I don't know why posters who understand the german language didn't mention it because there's a few on here...I found a article about it... in german though
