Nobodies ever stopped Berto. Besides Floyd didnt fight Baldo for less money. He basically got the same number. You talk about making **** up if Margarito was number 1 for 3 years than Im a goddamn chinaman. Margarito was the WBO champ, which at the time was considered the equvilant of a NABF title. Brian Kelly interviewed Floyd on ESPN and accused Floyd of ducking Baldo. Plus after Baldo beat Gatti the slurpfest for Baldo would make Margarito look like Mike Dallas Jr. You dont believe me go back and watch that fight and listen to Lampley. 9 losses or not people thought Baldo was the second coming.

Both were HBO hype jobs. Both dont have a signature win of note. Both got dominated everytime they stepped up in opposition. Both were caught cheating. The only difference between the two is Berto has some boxing skill. Margarito is a complete bum in my opinion. Basically theyve had the same carreer. You could argue Berto was an underachiever.
