People seem to be ignoring the fact that Morales just wants one last farewell fight. He is not trying to win a title or fight on HBO. He simply wants one last fight in his hometown.

No, in other words they cant do anything so they made a "2 year sanction" that has almost no effect at all, other then probably not being able to fight in the US

I would say not being able to fight in the US would have an affect on his career and most other boxers.

Except that before any of this crap was announced he already said he wants two more fights in mexico as a farewell, plus the fact that the sanctioning bodies (WBC Specifically) still can support them, and lets not forget the fact that these tests were collected and done and USADA STILL allowed him to fight Danny Garcia. The NYSAC didnt suspend him, nor did any other state commission. USADA has no say so in the boxing realm, so whos to say that if he DID want to fight in USA that a commission (Texas) wouldnt allow him to fight anyway? F*** USADA. These bastards are just trying to save face. if they really gave two squirts of piss about safety they would have STOPPED the Garcia fight after he tested dirty. If they really had the power to enforce BANS on fighters they would have done it before Morales stepped in the ring with USADA.
