Comments Thread For: Prescott vs. Crawford on Rios-Alvarado, Khabib is Out

According to the team of Khabib Allakhverdiev, the WBA "regular" junior welterweight champion has suffered an injury and withdrew from his HBO televised fight with Colombian boxer Breidis Prescott. The match was scheduled for the Brandon Rios-Mike Alvarado card on March 30th at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Khabib will be replaced by undefeated contender Terence Crawford, who takes a step up in class. Khabib recently signed with Top Rank and was eager to make his HBO televised debut.

I figured. No reschedule? nothing? Khabib ain't injured. The boy and his team are shook. He wasn't going to beat no Prescott, too small! It was too much of a risk, they will go on and seek out a easier opponent now count on it..

Anyone know anything about this Crawford guy? He has 78% KO ratio. I'd have to side with the experienced big puncher tho. Crawford was scheduled to face an "opponent".

Yeah because injuries while training for a boxing match never happen.....

/sarcasm. Don't be ******, you sound like a fool. You acting as if Prescott is some undefeated champion or something, ha... He's been beaten.

Yea cause we know boxers aren't known for faking injuries and illnesses.
