i agree with the poster(s) who said his stance is too wide and he really doesn't have much footwork, it's a tad better than berto
What Are Your Thoughts On Broner's Legs/Footwork?

I dont think its awful either way but there is no way its awful to me when you are talking about a guy who was at 130 just a couple of fights ago. I dont care how weak Paulie is, thats still intriguing to me. Again though, its what he does next that people should base there decision on. Im pretty sure he'll fight someone solid, like a Maidana type. I dont think it will be a bumComment

Also I think a fighter is strong at what they practice. He is primarily stationary, so that's gonna be what he's proficient at. Anyone that makes him move would be forcing him out of what he usually/has become accustomed to doing, and advantage to them. He's not gonna magically become masterclass at something he doesn't practice, if he does get on his toes, he won't be as comfortable for sure.Comment

It all depends. There are 2 Paulies. One second he looks like he literally cant do anything but single pawing jabs. He woudlnt even beat an amature like that. Then the next fight he looks 10x better like against SenchenkoComment

He definitely doesn't fight on his toes, that's for sure. Because he fights like a big man I don't think his footwork has come into play that much in most of his fights to date. But in those fights where he has clearly struggled, PDL and Quintero, he looks very rigid when the opponent is getting in close. He rocks back on his heels and almost falls out of the exchange at times. Against a guy his own size who can apply pressure I think it could be a big factor, but we'll have to wait and see.Comment

It is after all, common enough, styles make fights.
While I don't think Broner will have much problems with "brawlers", he might indeed pay the price against somebody who can beat him to the punch and move.
How will he adapt?. In my opinion he won't get on his toes against "movers", but try to cut off the ring and bring the fight on the inside, becoming less and less of a Mayweather-like counter puncher, and more and more an aggressive boxer puncher.Comment

Someone best described it in a thread not long ago, that Broner copies floyd's style of TODAY.
Floyd made adjustments because hes older and heavier. Broner is young, he shouldnt be fighting flat footed all the time. But he likes to go for the KO too so that has some to do with it beyond his mayweather nuthugging.Comment
