Is Matthysse going to fight Peterson or what?

Why wait for Garcia when GBP is giving you a title shot now? In my opinion Peterson and Matthysse are the 2 best ive seen at 140, although Matthysse hasnt fought the top teir contenders as of late. But hes doing what he has to do by blowing out the bums. Peterson wants the fight. Showtime slurps Matthysse like hes their favorite son. Shafers came out and said he wants to make that fight. Yet Matthysse has been quiet as a church mouse all of a sudden. Last year it was Danny this and Danny that. Peterson comes asking now its cricket sounds.

The only holdup is they want it at a netural site like GBP were saying they were going to make it a double header in Atlantic City with Alexander-Brook but Peterson's people want the fight in DC. Lucas doesnt wanna fight there because of what happen with Khan and also both of Lucas losses came in his opponents backyard. They are trying to figure it out

AC's a nice location for that fight. May 18th is coming up soon and still no offical announcement. And after the let downs in boxing this year this fight is the one I want to see more than any other. Besides Mayweather vs Guerrero.

Hopefully not in DC, He can kiss his luck good bye if his dumb enough like Amir Khan to let the fight happen in DC. Hopefully the venue is the hold up and not money or anything other ****** thing.

Pretty sure Matthysse said to make the fight a couple of days after we first heard about it. He wants it. I can understand the hold up being over the venue, Matthysse's been screwed already in an opponent's hometown.

Fight is happening. Venue and date is an issue.

It was originally going to be the co-feature for Alexander vs. Brook on May 18th.

Then an article came out last week about it possibly being in DC instead of AC.

Matthyse got robbed against Alexander in the STL and lost a very close one he felt he won in Jersey to Judah.

If I was Matthyse's manager I wouldn't dream of letting him fight PEDerson in D.C.
