He's a young 35, he started his career late and stays in shape year round but still, it's only so long before you decline and the war's he's been in don't help.

He's overachieved beyond belief already but it's a shame he won't have more to give.

If he beats Kessler, he's booked his place in the HOF in my book.
He has never depended much on speed or reflexes, he depends on his chin, stamin, reach, power and will so hopefully he can be at the top a few more years. He talked about retirement if he loses to Kessler... I hope he wins and have a few more fights, maybe 4-5. He could take on the winner of Bute and pascal if they want to step up. Maybe fight Dawson or Hopkins at a catchweight.

Only so long till this stamina, timing, resistance all decline. He may not rely on reflexes and such but it's only so long until he'll no longer be able to pull the trigger. Froch is already slow as it is, once he get's that one step slower and less sharp he'll be in trouble.

I'd rather him fight others than rematchs but as long as he keeps fighting top fighters you can't complain.

He says he's more likely to move the other way in weight.

i think its good that froch has some respect for kessler beacause he can punch and carl cant get sloppy. at the same time i hope he doesnt have too much respect, he needs to know that they arent evenly matched. froch is better and he need to go in there and put it on him, be vary of the big shot but put it on him none the less.

To 160 for Martinez or Chavez jr? Can he still make that weight?
