No, I seen all promoters in the same light. Until the day a promoter comes along that cares about the fighters and the fans first, they will always be self serving leeches in my eyes. There also seems to be a lot of posters here who support the promoter of their favourite fighter, which is dumb and embarrasing.
In your opinion, is Golden Boy Promotions the best promotional firm out there?

probably if you compare them to the rest....have the biggest star, the deeper roster of top fighters and more tv dates.Comment

Same thing happening here with Matchroom. Everybody thinks its great what Eddie Haern is doing and how nice it is that FW has been taken out without actually realising that EH is just another version of FW. People have short memories and lack insight.Comment

The fact that GBP wants to setup a tournament at 140 that let's an entitled loser like Khan sit on his @ss and get a shot at a guy who wins 2 big fights shows why they suck.
I like the way Showtime has been trending the last few years but recent events have to have a negative impact on GBP just based off the gap in subscribers between HBO and SHOComment

I think bringing an awesome fight like Froch-Kessler II shows that Hearn is a little better than Warren and much more willing to risk his fighters against the best.Comment

not even to get into the argument of who's 'better', but they aren't the same promoter.Comment
