  • Comments Thread For: David Haye is Set To Return To Action on July 6th

According to Daily Mail, former two division champion David Haye (26-2, 24KOs) is set to return to action on July 6th. Haye was last seen in the ring on July 14, knocking out Dereck Chisora in five rounds before a massive crowd at Upton Park in West Ham. Haye wants to get a shot at WBC Vitali Klitschko or a rematch with WBO/IBF/IBO/WBA champion Wladimir Klitschko - and plans to get himself in position the old fashioned way, by becoming a mandatory challenger.

About time, although I expect a multitude of cherry-picked opponents.

Good to hear. This could bring some more life into the hw division, depending on who he fights.

Would love to see him against Adamek/Povetkin or Fury. I think he beats both but would be good fights.

I can't really envision anyone else outside of Klitschko and Fury/Adamek that would draw the money Haye wants. Povetkin would be interesting, doubt Povetkin takes the fight though, he seems adamant on doing nothing.

He'll probably fight a British opponent. Look how much he earned v Harrison and Chisora.

I'd say Tyson Fury's in the box seat if he beats Cunningham.
