I am aware that Haye got a razor close win over Valuev several years ago. But he was a (paper) champion and not a contender. Has there been any top ten contenders?

He doesn't need to fight anybody. He should just sit on his high tanking like other contenders. Its what you approve for others.

He beat Ruiz ranked #5 i believe. Barrett was ranked #8 with WBO at the time. Bonin was #11, Valuev a champion and Chisora really should have had Helenius' ranking. Take your pick.

I dont see Tyson Fury - Haye happening. I think he'll be looking at a foreign fighter, say Povetkin, Pulev, Arreola. Arreola - Haye would be a good scrap. Chris knows how to talk smack as well. Could be a good fight to show the American fans that he wasn't at his best vs Wlad. If he KOd Arreola, the fans and media would take notice.

              Right.

That was 3 years ago. Since then he beat Fraudley, was humiliated by Wlad and KO'ed a guy coming off 2 straight losses.

Let's hope Haye fights an opponent that would qualify him for a klit shot.

This is interesting.. There is a few very good fights david can make.

Povetkin, Pulev, Tyson are all good fights.

But he is not the biggest talking in HW anymore! lol

So since April 2010, who did Wlad or even better Vitali beat that was a legitimate contender? Charr? Wach? Mormeck? Briggs? Sosnowski? Close decision to Chisora? Thompson? Haha. These guys are the champions, they are supposed to fight the best out there, yet Haye's resume over the same period of time is better than Vitali's and on par with Wlad's.
